Student Life
At Hillcrest Community School, students have a variety of opportunities to participate in co-curricular and leadership activities. Our students, parents and staff are engaged in activities to develop Hillcrest students' awareness of the needs of our local and global community. Parents and staff guide students in all grades to organize food and clothing drives... The Green ECO Team promotes recycling and energy conservation as well as developing critical thinking. Additionally, our children are busy with sports, chess, arts, music, and swimming just to name a few. They balance excellent academic achievement with a significant time commitment to practices, games and club meetings. We are proud of the many awards that our graduates receive for academics, athletics, leadership and environmental stewardship. What Sets us Apart
At Hillcrest Community School our goal is to provide each child with a love of learning, the ability to inquire, and to foster self-esteem and respect in all areas of development. Our dedicated teaching staff prides themselves in understanding the needs of each child and does their best to meet the students needs with the assistance and support of parents and guardians. There is a sense of belonging and warmth in the community fostered by it's long-standing tradition of positive home-school communication and a climate of high expectations. Our students learn and play in a safe and nurturing environment where respect and social responsibility are a primary focus. |
